Using SameSky

Terms of use

SameSky is a space to share private moments with one person. These terms explain how the service and optional Premium purchase work.

The service

SameSky is an iPhone app for one shared space between two accounts. You may use it to send content, answer prompts, make plans, keep memories, and use supported widgets. Some features require a working internet connection, notifications, a compatible device or an active Premium entitlement. We may update features to keep the service reliable and useful.

You are responsible for the content you share and for keeping your private invite code with the person you intend to connect. Do not send unlawful, threatening, harassing, infringing, or otherwise harmful content. Only share material you have the right to use. Contact sameskyapp@pm.me to report misuse or content that makes you feel unsafe; include enough detail to help us investigate, but avoid sending sensitive material unless requested.

Your content and your space

You keep ownership of the content you create. You allow SameSky and its service providers to store, process and deliver it as needed to operate the app and make it available to the other person in your shared space. You can remove your own moments and export a private archive in the app. If you leave a shared space, you lose access to it and the other person retains its history. Please read our Privacy Policy for more detail.

Premium and payments

SameSky offers optional monthly and yearly auto-renewing Premium subscriptions and a one-time lifetime Premium purchase. The price, billing period and any introductory offer shown by the App Store at checkout control your purchase. Premium is shared with the person in your current space while the entitlement is active; changing or leaving a shared space can affect the other person’s access. Free features remain available without a purchase, subject to their stated limits.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple handles payment, renewal, cancellation and eligible refunds. You can manage a subscription in your Apple account. Deleting your SameSky account or leaving a shared space does not cancel Apple billing. A lifetime purchase is a one-time purchase rather than a subscription, subject to the availability of the app and applicable law. Previously created shared content remains accessible in the app after Premium ends, where the account still has access to the space.

Availability and changes

We work to keep SameSky available, but mobile networks, Apple services and cloud providers can be interrupted. Drafts or pending actions may need to reconnect before reaching the other person. We may suspend access to protect accounts or investigate misuse, and may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice where appropriate. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

Accounts and ending use

You can unpair or delete your account in Your Space. Deletion is permanent for your account and does not remove the other person’s retained shared history. If you need help with an account or a report of misuse, write to sameskyapp@pm.me. We may restrict accounts used to breach these terms, while taking account of the private nature of shared content and applicable law.

Applicable terms and contact

Use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence. For questions, contact sameskyapp@pm.me. We may update these terms; the effective date on this page will change when we do.
